Scaffold Safety and Erection Course
 
Course Description
 
This course will provide essential knowledge needed to ensure that erection, use, and dismantling of Frame, System, Tube and Coupler, Adjustable, Suspended, and Prefabricated Mast Climber scaffolding are done correctly and safely, in accordance with local regulations. To emphasize many of the topics, demonstration labs based on current research, including hands-on erection and dismantling of scaffolding, are scheduled throughout the program. Homework and tests are given daily to monitor student learning and to encourage active participation in the class. The seminar will conclude with a comprehensive final examination. Students who successfully compete the course will receive certificates and wallet cards. University Course Credit may be available upon request, prior to registration.

This course improves and increases the knowledge of all individuals involved with the design, erection, use, dismantling, safety, and sales or rental of scaffolds. Sales people, building trades workers, scaffolding contractors, equipment managers, safety coordinators, attorneys, insurance professionals, and educators are encouraged to attend.
